How can I check the battery life on the Water Smart Leak Detector (Gen 2)?

You will receive a low-battery alert when the battery life of a device is low. This alert lets you know which specific device needs a battery replacement. We advise you to contact your property manager to replace the battery before it dies.   

If you have push notifications enabled, your phone will notify you even if you are not in the app.   

To check the battery status of your Arize Smart Water Leak Detector (Gen 2)

  1. Open the Arize Resident App.  
  2. From the resident dashboard, locate the Arize Smart Water Leak Detector tile.  
  3. If the battery is low, you will see a yellow dot labeled “low battery”. 
  4. If the battery life is not low, no indicator will be visible.
