How do I know if I need to update firmware?

To check whether your device requires a firmware update

  1. Open the Arize Resident App.  
  2. From the resident dashboard, tap on the menu icon located in the upper left corner of the screen. 
  3. Tap Settings. 
  4. Tap Devices. 
  5. Tap the device category that has a red dot next to it. 
  6. Tap the device with the red dot next to it.  
  7. Tap Firmware Update 

Note: If a device update is available, there will be a red dot located to the right of that device’s name.
