How do I set my residents up to control the smart devices in their unit?
To set your residents up to control the smart devices in their unit
- Verify the resident doesn’t already exist in the Arize Management Portal.
- Click Residents in the side navigation menu.
- Click the Create Resident button located in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Fill out the form and click Save.
- Once you select your filters, click Apply.
- Your resident will receive an “Arize – Invitation to Join” email from Arize Support (no-reply@arizehub.com).
- The new resident should download the Arize Resident App and use the credentials provided in the email to log in to their account.
- Once the resident logs in, they will be required to update their password.
- After updating their password, the resident should see all their smart devices on the dashboard. They’ll also be prompted to connect to their Wi-Fi for better performance.
