How do I start a temperature hold?
The hold feature on your Arize Smart Thermostat allows you to override your thermostat schedule whenever you want to set a different temperature. You can set a temporary or permanent thermostat hold using either the Arize Smart Thermostat or the Arize Resident App.
There are two ways to start a temperature hold
- Through the Arize Resident App
- Using the Arize Smart Thermostat
To start a temperature hold through the Arize Resident App
- Open the Arize Resident App.
- From the resident dashboard, tap the thermostat device tile.
- To initiate a hold, adjust the thermostat controls (orange and blue dots) to the desired temperatures.
Note: To start a hold, the temperature schedule must be active. There is no setting to hold if there is no schedule in place.
To start a temperature hold using the Arize Smart Thermostat
- Press the ^ arrow.
- Change the temperature range to the desired temperatures using the ^ and V arrows.
- Press OK.
