How do I lock and unlock my Arize Smart Thermostat?

The Arize Smart Thermostat will either be in “Unlocked” or “Locked” mode.
- Unlocked: All settings are adjustable.
- Locked: Prevents anyone from changing the current device settings.
To unlock and lock the thermostat
To unlock
- Click Devices in the side navigation menu.
- Click Thermostats under “Devices”.
- Filter through to find the thermostat you are looking for.
- Click the unlock icon located under the “Action” column.
- Click Confirm.
To lock
- Click Devices in the side navigation menu.
- Click Thermostats under “Devices”.
- Filter through to find the thermostat you are looking for.
- Click the lock icon located under the “Action” column.
- Click Confirm.
Note: Property managers can control the thermostats in the “Vacant” section. They can only view the status and information of the thermostats in the “Occupied” section. By default, thermostats in vacant units are set to “Off” mode.
